“Sending you and to your family the spirit of Christmas..
Gift of Love, Peace, Joy and Prosperity.”
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas friends and all the people around the world. Christmas season is very exciting to everyone especially with children because we have this tradition of exchanging gifts, sharing love and gatherings.
December 25th is observed as Christmas time all over the globe. It is celebrated in a variety of ways. Families have traditions that are often passed down from generation to generation. Sometimes the traditions are not even understood by younger family members but are practiced and celebrated. Churches and religions have customs and traditions too.
The TRUE meaning of Christmas
But what is really Christmas? Is it the gifts under the tree, the colourful lights in the windows, big dinner with family and friends, snow in the yards, stocking hanging in the living room or greeting “Merry Christmas” to everyone who is passing by on the street?
Christmas is a Christian festival celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Some people says that it is not December 25 when Jesus was born and no one knows the exact date. Yes, you are right there is no mentioned in the bible that Jesus Christ was born on December 25 , but we believe the fact that there is one day that Jesus Christ our Saviour was born so we are celebrating it regardless of the date. We can celebrate it anytime or any day, we rejoiced and grateful because the WORD became flesh for the redemption of mankind and gave us eternal life (those who accepted and acknowledge Him are no longer separated from God) that’s the real essence of Christmas.
Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel”
Isaiah 7:14 : Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
John 1:14- The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Let’s celebrate then this Christmas with gladness, full of hope and faith because Jesus Christ the Messiah was born to save the lost and redeemed us from all our sins and transgression and gave us a place in heaven and an everlasting life with our Father, our Creator.
Celebrating with the right substance and perspective is very essential because only when we understand the meaning of this event we can truly celebrate it and feel the joy, peace, love and essence of life.
