I’ve Got My New Camera- Tips On Buying

Last Thursday I’ve got my new DSLR camera. I need one for my photography class starting this Friday. (Finally, I am so excited to start as it will be like going back to school with classmates and professor after a long time.☺️). Before I bought this camera I searched first online and read reviews about different types and brand. The most famous brand, especially for beginners, are Canon and Nikon, so I only choose between this two, on which type that’s another thing that I’m gonna discuss here with you. Purchasing a camera is a big deal, this is something that you have to think about before investing into something you will use for a short while. Each camera has different features and advantage from another which you cannot find in one camera only. If you are a beginner and want to spend to this gadget in order for you to have a great experience for your first time buying of DSLR camera check below tips that you have to consider.

  1. USE – First you have to be clear on where do you want to use your camera. There are so many different types of camera nowadays, DSLR, Mirrorless, etc. There are 3 type according to use. Camera good for photography, good for videos or youtube and good for both (photography & video). If you are only looking for camera to be use for photography with better quality image then you can choose from varieties of model . For taking video and youtube, you can choose another one. But if you want a camera with both good qualities for photography and video, then you can find one as well.
  2. WEIGHT – The weight of the camera should also be consider. If you are small you have to choose only those lightweight camera not those heavy and hassle especially if you want to use it when travelling, but if you will gonna use it for professional photography well you can choose even the big one, it is not a problem then.
  3. Image Quality, Lens,  ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed – These features are very important to check before buying camera. I’m not professional yet in this field that’s why I am taking a photography class. But you can ask some advice from your friends who have lots of experience and knows very well in buying this gadget. Check the features and specification by searching online. You can also read reviews so that you will get ideas from the experience of those people who already buy and use the brand and model you are eyeing for, then you can decide to buy one. Remember, your satisfaction or regrets will come after buying and using it.
  4. BUDGET – Check your budget on how much you want to spend in camera and what you will get. Check first in different shops in the mall or nearest to you. Then check as well online the price and compare it. Sometimes, it is cheaper to buy online because the seller are not paying for expensive rent compared to the shops in the malls, but you have to check if the online store is trustable. Check with your friends their experience if they are happy and satisfied with what they buy in that online store .

Thank you for reading. Hope you learned something from this post. I’m gonna share with you the type of the camera I bought and the story of my journey in photography in the coming days.

Have a great day.  Sending you love and blessings. 🙂
