Hello dear friends and readers, hope everyone is doing great. It’s been a long time since my last post. I apologized for being missed. One thing is for sure I will update you from time to time of my photography lessons.
A couple of weeks ago, we went early to Dubai Spice Souk area in Deira for early photo walk. It was our first outdoor photography with a group. Our call time was 5am, as the golden hour in photography is one hour after sunrise and one hour before sunset. So, if you are passionate to capture great photos you have to follow this rules. 🙂
Today, I’m gonna share with you my photos taken. I will also share with you a brief story of the place.
Dubai Spice Souk, is a traditional market (or souk). The souk comprises several narrow lanes which are lined with open and closed-roof store. They sell a variety of fragrances and spices from frankincense and shisha to the many herbs used in Arabic and South Asian food. In addition, several household, textiles, incense, rugs and artifacts are also sold in the Spice Souk. (If you haven’t seen this place, try to include this in your itinerary to visit, there are so many interesting stuff you will find)
Check out below my photos taken in the morning. Since it was still very early, all the shops were still close. Our objective is to practice on how to use and adjust the settings of the camera so we just capture any interesting subject in the area. But I went back in the evening the next day when the shops are already open, so there are still some photos below. 🙂
In the night I went back on the side of Bur Dubai and take some photos as all the stores are now open.
I hope you like it. Thank you for reading. Have a great day. 🙂
